科幻巨著《三体》曾描述：“整个宇宙会为你闪烁。”这里的“闪烁”并非指人眼可见的宇宙闪烁，而是指微波背景辐射的闪烁。微波背景辐射在现代宇宙学中扮演着关键角色，尤其是在大爆炸理论和早期宇宙的研究中。但微波背景辐射究竟是什么？它对人类理解宇宙的重要性又有多大？
来自武汉大学天文协会（WHUAA）的两位演讲者将引领观众揭开微波背景辐射的神秘面纱。他们将深入介绍其发现、起源、特性、前沿研究及其意义。从未来应用的视角（例如星际旅行），他们将强调这一辐射在连接科幻与现实之间所扮演的独特角色。
武汉大学天文协会，简称 WHUAA，是一个成立于2013年的学术组织。源自对星空的共同热爱，该协会致力于普及天文知识，成为引领星空探索的灯塔。它不仅是武汉大学天文爱好者的聚集地，也是来自不同地区和学校的志同道合者建立友谊的平台。
